Journalism is a method of inquiry and literary style that aims to provide a service to the public by the dissemination and analysis of news and other information. Journalistic integrity is based on the principles of truth, disclosure, and editorial independence. Access to verifiable information gathered by independent media sources, which adhere to journalistic standards, can also be of service to ordinary citizens, by empowering them with the tools they need in order to participate in the political process.

Flat Fucking Broke!

Somethings are different and somethings are not.

Dad was abused and died before his time, but Mom was not ... she lacked for nothing and lived a completed and full life.

In the end, Mom was not locked away in a convelesant hospital and isolated from those that loved her nor did she lack any human comfort.

Whereas Dad had the resources to live out the final years of his life in luxury, instead he was dumped at the old folks home by his abusers ... dehydrated, malnourished, anemic with multiple pressure ulcers. Oh, yeah, and flat fucking broke.
